Patriots needed for a revolution!<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Once again something unthinkable happened in Haiti. Jean-Claude Duvalier is back. To my knowledge this might be the first time in modern history that a famous dictator has come back to the country that he fled with even some color of legitimacy. The country is in such disarray that anything different than the current situation including despise or sometimes semi-slavery in Dominican Republic or even the good old days of an orderly dictatorship might look like a hopeful opportunity to some common people.<\/p>

Haitian nationalists inside Haiti and abroad, everything that we thought would be impossible came to pass. The only thing that is not in sight is the path to progress. Can't you see the country will never get better until the root cause of its disasters
mess is removed? The problem of Haiti is not Duvalier nor C\u00e9dras nor Aristide nor Pr\u00e9val, it is the system that is only able to produce this kind of leaders. Can't you see the system is rotten to the core and has to be uprooted? After the shameful spectacle of incompetence following the earthquake, after the disgraceful farce of the current 2010 election, with the return of Duvalier and later of Aristide, it is now time for the Diaspora to be fully engaged politically in Haiti to demand not beg and obtain without delay and conditions the formal recognition as legitimate Haitians of all those who were born on the Haitian soil with also their children born abroad. This is the time to shuffle the whole deck of cards and come out with a new set. This is the time for a real new constitution not a worthless piece of paper. This is the time to end this humiliating joke. This is the time for the revolution.<\/p>\n

We have a nation not a state. Since in reality there is no Haitian state let us stop lying to ourselves, talking about national sovereignty and pretending that we can find dignity in this charade of a state. Since we don't have a state let us build one. Let us build an inclusive Haitian state based on the solid foundation of open nationality, full participation of the Diaspora in the national life and a Haitian federation of 5 autonomous provinces.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Summary<\/strong>:\u00a0The traditional Haitian leaders are childish. They do not have the ability to rise to any occasion. For example changing an absolute constitution is a problem. Having two levels of government cooperating for the good of the country is asking for too much. Only personal gain is the language that those so called leaders understand.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
